Trial application privacy notice
This covers only the details you give us when you apply for the LUNA7 private trial. LUNA7 is in private development; this notice will be expanded before general launch.
What we collect
- Your name, work email, organisation and (optionally) role.
- What you tell us you would test LUNA7 on, if you choose to.
- A salted, one-way hash of your IP address and your browser user-agent, kept briefly to prevent spam and abuse. We do not store your raw IP address.
Why we collect it
We use these details to review and respond to your trial application. Applications are reviewed by a person; there is no automated decision-making and no sales sequence.
Lawful basis
The box you tick on the form confirms only that you have read this notice; it is not itself the lawful basis for processing. Our lawful basis is being finalised, and is expected to rest on our legitimate interest in assessing a business request to join the trial, and on our legitimate interest in preventing abuse for the technical information above. We will confirm the final wording here before collecting applications publicly.
Who sees it
Your details are used by the LUNA7 team to assess your application. We do not sell them or share them for marketing. A confirmation email is sent to you and a notification to us; these are delivered through an email service acting on our behalf.
How long we keep it
- Application details are kept while we consider your application and are then removed (by default within about a year).
- If you withdraw, your personal details are erased promptly and the remaining record is deleted shortly after (by default within about a month).
- Abuse-prevention hashes are cleared on a short cycle (by default within about a month).
Your choices
You can check your application’s status, or withdraw it and have your details deleted, at any time using the reference in your confirmation email: check status or withdraw. You can also ask us to access or delete your details by contacting us.
